In tandem with 3Stories, Oliver Heath Design helped shape the refreshed global interior strategy for Pullman Hotels, part of the Accor group. Our role: to seamlessly weave biophilic thinking into the evolving brand aesthetic, ensuring Pullman’s brand promise of connection, progress, and wellbeing came alive through natural, functional, and intelligent biophilic design features.
These were applied across numerous building project typologies from new build to renovation, conversion to a cost-effective refresh of spaces. We then focused more intensely across all areas of the Pullman offer including external and front of house, social plus F&B, MICE, wellbeing and guest rooms.
Crafting a Design Language Rooted in Nature
Working closely with the branding and interiors team at 3Stories and other project team consultants, we introduced biophilic principles that reflected Pullman’s evolving identity while preserving its history. The guidelines we developed encouraged design features that fostered sensory and emotional engagement: natural materials, subtle greenery, strategic sightlines, and textures inspired by organic forms, all crafted to align with Pullman’s spirit of transformative hospitality.
Outcome: A Cohesive, Well Being Centred Brand Environment
Asa result of our collaboration, Pullman now presents a global interior identitythat is not only visually cohesive but also physically & emotionallysupportive. The spaces embody the brand’s ethos of connectivity and wellbeing, crating vibrant, social, and immersive guest environments.
