We design places where people, and organisations, thrive.

We're place-makers first. For over 20 years we've combined evidence-based biophilic design, neuroinclusive design and measurable commercial outcomes into one approach, something no other single-lens studio offers.

Organisations including Bloomberg, Deutsche Bank, Lloyds of London, Knight Frank Investment Management and the London School of Economics have trusted to enhnace their spaces.

We spend 90% of our time indoors,
biophilic design is how we close that gap.

Developing meaningful nature connections begins with asking the right questions:

  • What do people need to be doing in a space?
  • How do we want them to feel?
  • What are the stresses and strains that may prevent them from using, benefiting and being productive in the space?

Only once we have the answers to these questions can we start to develop nature-based design strategies to deliver tangible results - those that improve productivity, creativity and more deeply connect occupants to space, place and community.

From strategy to delivery, all based on evidence our approach aligns with all RIBA stages, PAS 6463, WELL, BREEAM and ESG objectives.

One connected approach, three scales.

We design ecosystems for wellbeing - supporting the individual, strengthening teams, and creating shared spaces that cultivate culture, belonging, and collective wellbeing.

Every project is shaped by three lenses too:

Neuro-scientific
Inclusive
Socio-psychological

So the science, the sensory experience and the culture of a space are always designed together.

We use our Biophilic Design Analysis Toolkit (BDAT) to guide our design process and identify and deliver the most cost-effective beneficial features.

When people feel better, organisations perform better.

Every project is designed to improve sensory comfort, inclusion and cognitive performance, so people feel better, focus more easily, stay longer, and return more often. That means reduced costs from absenteeism and staff turnover, stronger attraction and retention of teams and customers, and a measurably higher return on investment.

The results speak for themselves:
14 months after redesigning Knight Frank Investment Management's office, staff reported remarkable improvements across the workplace experience.

  • Individual productivity rose by 18%
  • General wellbeing while at work rose by 28%
  • Motivation to work in the office increased by 17%
  • Sense of pride in the office grew by 20%
  • Productive meetings rose by an impressive 22%
  • Sensory stimulation jump by more than 45%

A connection to nature has to work both ways.

We reconnect people with nature not just for wellbeing, but to build real empathy and connection with the natural world. Our regenerative approach seeks to develop mutualistic benefits for both people and planet, beyond traditional project parameters, timelines, and budgets.
