Supporting a Vision of Innovation, Sustainability, and Well being
The objective: to integrate meaningful, brand-aligned biophilic design strategies that enhanced wellbeing, supported WELL accreditation goals, and reflected the company’s longstanding identity as an innovative and globally connected financial institution.
Translating Brand into Biophilic Strategy
Working closely with both client and architects, we focused on embedding biophilic elements that resonated with the institutes core values of stewardship, performance, and heritage. Drawing on the firm’s history of longevity and global perspective, we developed a strategy that brought nature into the space through a sophisticated, curated lens: using planting schemes, natural textures, and spatial planning techniques that subtly referenced the thriving and resilient nature of the brand.
Biophilic interventions were not just aesthetic; they were strategically placed to support individual user wellbeing, social connection and focus throughout the range of spaces. Planting installations were integrated into key communal and breakout areas, while views to external greenery within Manchester Square, were carefully leveraged as part of the overall biophilic layout.
Supporting WELL Accreditation Without Compromise
Our biophilic consultancy supported the WELL Building Standard, ensuring that all green and wellness elements contributed to the building's platinum certification targets while remaining true to the architectural vision. Rather than applying off-the-shelf solutions, we delivered a tailored, evidence-based approach that balanced health, sustainability, and design integrity.
A Space That Reflects Purpose and Progress
This move marks a significant chapter in the firm’s London story, symbolising its continued growth in Europe and commitment to innovation and responsible design. We’re proud to have contributed to this flagship project, helping to create a space that connects people with nature while upholding the values of one of the world’s most respected financial institutions.
